We are delighted to announce that Stephanie Widmann, Head of Brand Identity at SELECTED, is supporting the GoSeeAWARDS Jury this year. For the Danish label, she is responsible for branding and visual concepts. SELECTED FEMME/HOMME is part of BESTSELLER, a family-owned Danish fashion company founded in 1975.
“After being responsible for all ESPRIT shoots for nearly a decade, I began working freelance in 2016. For five years, I supported international brands and creative agencies with casting, art buying, strategy and visual concepts, until I received the job offer from Denmark in 2021.” Stephanie Widmann.
Since that time, Stephanie and her team have been working on the visual identity of SELECTED and on initiatives such as STORIES, which was launched just last year on selected.com. STORIES grants a glimpse behind the scenes of photo shoots while showing the faces behind the brand in editorials, and is focused on – as the name suggests, storytelling.

In a highly competitive environment, fashion labels need to offer more than ‘just’ a good product to stay relevant. It’s about building an emotional connection with customers by tapping into their values and inspiring them in an authentic way. With STORIES, we share how we work, how we think and invite our customers to join the SELECTED community.”
Backed by in-depth specialized expertise as well as extensive experience when it comes to realizing fashion shoots, she is now supporting our GoSeeAWARDS Jury. Participation is free of charge for all photographers, stylists, artists, … who want to inspire our jury of experts with their personal work or project.
